Self-Abandonment To Divine Providence

If we lived uninterruptedly by the life of faith, we should be in continual contact with God, we should speak with Him face to face. As the air is the medium for transmitting our thoughts and words to others, so all our deeds or sufferings would transmit to us the thoughts and words of God; they would be but the embodiment of His words giving them their external expression; for us, all would be holy and excellent. This union with God will be established in Heaven by glory; faith will establish it on earth and the only difference is in our mode of reception.
